PURPOSE: To reduce the amount of work of applying adhesive and metallic plate surface treatment in making an antivibration isolator consisting of multiple metallic plates and rubber plates laminated by turns by bringing the metallic and rubber plates into a non-adhesive condition.
CONSTITUTION: An outer metallic plate 1 on which a first layer of rubber plate 2 is vulcanized and glued is disposed at the top and bottom with the rubber surfaces facing each other. Between them are disposed multiple inner metallic plates 3 and the rubber plates 2 by turns ending with the metallic plate 3 under non-adhesive condition. Or, the outer metallic plate 1 on which the first layer of rubber plate 2 is attached is disposed at the top and bottom with the rubber plates facing each other with multiple inner metallic plates 3 on both sides of which rubber plates 2 are vulcanized and glued being laminated by turns between the top and bottom. With the above constitution, cumbersome adhesive application, metallic plate surface treatment work, control of strict heating and vulcanizing conditions are reduced and an isolator of excellent antivibration characteristic is obtained.
