PURPOSE: To smoothly execute a telephone operation in a paging response by reading the ID code of an ID card held by a callee by a card reader and automatically connecting a caller and the callee. CONSTITUTION: When a paging originating call special number and a pocket bell number are dialed from an extension telephone set at a calling side 2, the number information is sent through a line circuit 3 to a control part 10. Next, a paging trunk 5 and a line circuit 11 are connected through a TDSW (time division switch) 4, and a pocket bell 7 of a callee is called from a pocket beeper equipment 6 by a radio signal. The callee makes a card reader 14 attached to an extension telephone set 12 read a self ID code 13 and sends the ID code 13 through the line 11 to the control part 10. Further, in the control part 10, it is confirmed whether the ID code 13 is the ID code corresponding to the pocket bell number or not, and when both the ID codes coincides with each other, the control circuit 10 connects the speech path between the circuit 3 and the circuit 11 through the TDSW 4. Thus, the telephone operation in the paging response can be executed smoothly. COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
