Laterally pulling construction

Abstract

PURPOSE: To pull a structure having a large span without being applied with strain and torsion by supporting almost all the traction loads at the center position when the structure body is pulled in the ridge direction at three points of the center position in the span direction and the edge part positions separated by an equal distance in the both edge directions from the center position. CONSTITUTION: A pulled structure body such as roof frame 1 is pulled in the ridge direction at three points of the center position in the span direction and the edge part positions separated by an equal distance in the both edge directions from the center position, and almost all the traction loads are supported by the center position. The center position of the roof frame 1 is supported by a pillar 2, and the both edges are supported by a pillar 3. A guide rail 4 is laid along the ridge directions of the pillars 2 and 3, and the pillars 2 and 3 are pulled by a rod pulled on the guide rail 4 by a jack. Therefore, the pulling of a structure having a large span can be pulled without being applied with strain and torsion, and the execution management is facilitated. COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO&Japio
